The sponges are made from plant fibers from dried loofah cucumber and can be used as a dish sponge for pots, pans, glass, and crockery or as a cleaning sponge in the kitchen and on other surfaces in the home. They can also be used as a body scrub to exfoliate the skin. If you want smaller pieces, you can cut between the cotton seams. The loofah sponge lasts for several months, and when it wears out, you can throw it in the compost.
